Save Sama’s eye before it is too late Sama Abu Jlidan, 10, sustained a severe blast injury to her eye that caused extensive rupture of the eyeball and extrusion of its contents, leaving her unable to perceive light. She also suffered a deep eyelid injury and loss of part of the tissue. Despite undergoing an initial surgery to repair the eye, Sama remains in critical condition and urgently needs treatment abroad, including specialized surgeries to reconstruct the eye socket and repair the eyelid and damaged tissues. Save Rawda Before It’s Too Late Infant Rawda Abu Zarqa is suffering from a serious and rapidly deteriorating medical condition, with doctors suspecting a rare inherited metabolic disorder. She has an enlarged liver, severe growth failure, difficulty feeding, recurrent episodes of dangerously low blood sugar, and markedly elevated lactate and liver enzyme levels. Doctors say she urgently needs to travel abroad for specialized genetic and enzyme testing to reach an accurate diagnosis and begin appropriate treatment, as these specialized services are unavailable in Gaza. Every delay could put her life at further risk. She urgently needs to be transferred for specialized medical care before it is too late.

14-year-old Mais Al-Qudra has suffered since birth from a rare genetic disorder known as xeroderma pigmentosum, which makes her skin extremely sensitive to sunlight and significantly increases her risk of skin cancer. The condition has also caused complications affecting her vision, hearing and cognitive development. In 2023, Mais underwent surgery to remove a skin tumor, but she still requires specialized tests, continuous medical follow-up and removal of any new tumors. She urgently needs a medical referral to a specialized center outside Gaza before her condition worsens and becomes more serious.

Despite receiving treatment, his condition remains unstable, with the swelling returning and his blood pressure rising once again.
