Two-and-a-half-year-old Bilal Al-Raqab is suffering from acute glomerulonephritis, which has caused severe swelling throughout his body, dark-colored urine, and persistently high blood pressure. Despite receiving treatment, his condition remains unstable, with the swelling returning and his blood pressure rising once again.
Doctors say Bilal urgently needs further diagnostic tests and treatment at a specialized pediatric nephrology center outside the Gaza Strip to prevent serious complications that could impair his kidney function and threaten his life. Saving Bilal requires his urgent transfer abroad for treatment before it is too late.
