Fraudsters exploited Obamacare at the expense of vulnerable Americans and taxpayers. EXAMPLE: Cory Lloyd targeted homeless people and those with mental health and substance abuse disorders in a $233 MILLION Obamacare fraud scheme. He has been sentenced to 20 years in prison. Yesterday, @VP Vance's Fraud Task Force and @DrOzCMS took action to prevent fraudsters like this from robbing taxpayers and threatening the healthcare of Americans who need it most.

🚨These two criminals were sentenced to 20 years imprisonment for an egregious health care fraud scheme. They preyed on tens of thousands of vulnerable victims to improperly enroll them into fully subsidized ACA plans, for which the defendants earned millions of $$ in commission payments from insurance companies. They exchanged text messages bragging about the money they were making and belittling the people they victimized in the process. In one text exchange, Strong suggested to Lloyd that the pair send street marketers into hurricane shelters in Florida. Lloyd replied, “It’s a killer idea, if we could pull it off! … I want to rake the shelters! R*pe.” Strong replied, “Haha I’m not kidding,” and Lloyd confirmed, “Me either…let’s f*uck em up.” This is the evil of fraud we must combat. @DOJFraudDiv will continuing partnering with @DrOzCMS, @IRS_CI, @FBI, @OIGatHHS, and our other great partners to imprison fraudsters like this.
