Announcing our funding agreement with @Ledger. The agreement supports the work required to integrate the new Zcash Ironwood pool into Ledger devices. As a result of this agreement, Zcash coin holders will be able to use their ledger devices to self-custody their Zcash in the latest Ironwood pool. Today, we present Zcash Labs. An independent organization focused on solving technical integration challenges for businesses and institutions interested in Zcash. We are also funding and supporting teams and infrastructure that help solve real world adoption on zcash. Our initial focus will include: - Technical integrations and support for businesses and institutions - Running mission critical and privacy protecting zcash infrastructure - Supporting new projects that expand real adoption of Zcash usage We have already been helping independent Zcash-focused teams move from ideation to launched products, including initial grants to help get their work off the ground. And we are proud to announce that one of the teams is already ready, launched, and available. zcashtocash: @zcashtocash makes it easier to convert Zcash to fiat currency. It uses Peer to facilitate peer-to-peer conversions, with enclaves releasing ZEC only after the fiat payment has been verified. It supports 6 fiat apps as of now, and 100+ geographies, with a wider range of support coming as the Peer protocol expands. We have already been operating for some time and supporting teams such as zcashtocash. We also have more projects and integrations to announce.
