Every department at @Lovable now builds its own software. In April we had 11 internal apps our own teams had built on Lovable, by August it was more than 80. Lovable has a real internal software ecosystem now. The People team alone has built about 30 apps. Finance, Legal, Security, and IT have 9 between them. Our analytics app is used by 80% of the company and handles 60% of our internal data queries. Our community team runs 345 events a month on an app it built itself. More than 80 apps in total, across seventeen departments, all built by the people who use them. We see the same thing at our customers. The person closest to the problem builds the solution.

The news of the past days has reinforced that Al is the most consequential technology of our lifetimes, and it is arriving much faster than Europe is planning for. Leading researchers and experts have been working hard on a serious attempt to fix that, proposing a Transformative AI Strategy for Europe. It's been led by @privitera_ and @MonikaSchnitzer, with contributors including @bakkermichiel, @Ph_Aghion, @vestager and @Yoshua_Bengio. Personally, I particularly strongly agree with the following objectives: Reliable access to frontier Al, 15% of global Al compute by 2030, a member state alliance for supply chain security, institutions that move quickly, and fast-growing European companies. A piece I would like to emphasize, and add more weight to, is also the importance of international coordination for ensuring a safe AI transition. This will take courage and decisive action. Europe has done hard things before. Time to do it again. If you care, please forward this to people that would get value in learning about what is at stake and what we can do.

Warnings like this deserve to be taken seriously. I’m building an AI company because I believe this technology can give far more people the ability to create, earn a living, and shape their future. Making that future possible requires taking the risks seriously. Decisions that could affect everyone deserve public accountability. The people building the most powerful systems should have to demonstrate that they can keep them under control. As a European founder, I want our leaders to hear this: you have my support in pushing for international coordination, including slowing dangerous development when safety cannot be demonstrated. Every nation, including European countries, should also build. Invest in research, infrastructure, and companies that put useful technology within everyone’s reach. Give people the tools, understanding, and genuine control to participate in shaping what comes next. That is the future I want Lovable to contribute to: one where more people have the confidence and capability to shape their own lives. Our ambition for AI should be measured by what it makes possible for humanity.

Lovable now builds with Fable 5.1. It’s especially good at fixing and improving existing apps without breaking what already works. On the most difficult tasks, it outperforms Fable 5 by 17%, at a 31% lower cost. It’s also better at checking its own work and has sharper visual taste, with a 3.5% lift in visual design quality. For Lovable builders, this means more reliable updates, improved design quality, and less time spent fixing unintended issues.

The model picker era is coming to an end. More than 1B+ prompts have been sent to Lovable, and each one has helped us learn which model performs best for each task. For every prompt in Lovable, our system decides the right models, tools, instructions, and context - when to retry, when to replan, and when to route work to our own trained models. A model company can improve its model, but we improve the whole system, combining all the frontier models. In the end, we don’t want you to think about models. Nad emailed Fabian and me, offering to help with design. This was before Lovable existed, when it was mostly an open-source project. Two weeks later, he’d redesigned the product, the site, and the brand. He’s been shaping how Lovable looks and feels and, to me even more importantly - how we work internally. His thoughtfulness on organization and ways of working has inspired a lot of how Lovable is being built. Grateful he sent that email.

To build a business you need to make something people get more value from than they pay for. You don't figure that out behind a desk. You talk to potential users to understand which problems you have to solve and where the product needs to go next. A couple of days ago I was out on a sauna boat, and spent most of it asking the boat owner what his biggest problems were and how Lovable could help. How I talk to customers has evolved, but it's still one of my favorite parts of the job.

Lovable just raised $400M at a $13.3B valuation to build the business that helps build businesses. Apps built on Lovable now get 900M visits every month, and we’ve quadrupled ARR in the last 12 months. Since we started, Lovable has become the place where founders create million dollar businesses, business leaders spin up new product lines, and people inside companies rewire workflows and build tools that fit their exact needs, typically at a fraction of what software used to cost. There’s a lot more to do. We will create the most intuitive platform to build and run a business. That means: - Understanding what success looks like for you, then helping you achieve it. Not only ensuring your software works but also that you can attract customers, improve workflows, and grow your company. - Deeper integrations that work with your existing tech stack so you can build the interface to your entire business across sales, ops, marketing, finance, etc. - Becoming the safest platform to build and run your business on, which means secured code by default and that you get help to make safe decisions. As you build, the platform carries more of the security weight, spotting risks and helping you close them, so you can move fast without needing to become a security expert. - Staying model-independent and orchestrating the best models for every task so you don’t have to. We’ll continue to absorb the complexity of evaluating and teaching models to route to the best ones in the background, to minimize cognitive load for our users. As more people depend on Lovable, the quality standards our team is driving increase every single day. We’re growing the team with people with a founder mindset: curious, ambitious, and who think end to end. Model training, product geniuses, infrastructure tinkerers, and security are the priority. The world is full of ambitious people with deep knowledge of problems worth solving. Very few of them have historically had the power to act on them.
