A 3 y/o’s cancer kept coming back despite multiple surgeries and rounds of chemo. Two doses of CAR-T cell therapy made the cancer disappear. A year later, it still hasn’t returned. Remarkable.

I think @drmichaellevin is doing some of the most interesting science out there. In the future medicine will expand from chemistry towards bioelectricity, basically learning to reprogram cells through electrical signals. The science is a bit early still but I think the next big pharma companies will be in that field.

Why are Zcash donations to Roman Storm over 400x larger than Bitcoin donations? Perhaps Zcashers have extra sympathy for Roman because they care deeply about privacy and the freedom to write code. But I suspect the deeper reason is simply that you can’t donate to causes like this with Bitcoin without creating a permanent, publicly traceable record of it. Zcash enables good people to support causes they believe in without putting themselves on a list.
