Why is Lin Zhao a Christian martyr?
She wrote her prison letters in blood, refused to give her conscience to Mao, and was executed on April 29, 1968.
Her family was billed five cents for the bullet.
The Lin Zhao Freedom Award honors Chinese advocates of democracy and nonviolence who suffer for that same witness.
Nominate a living Chinese advocate for the 2026 Lin Zhao Freedom Award by November 9.
