Threadguy on the moment he realized Zcash privacy actually works "I was DMing one of the guys from the Hyperdash team and I was like, can you find this wallet? He's like yeah, give me a PNL and I can find anyone's wallet. I'm like all right, can you find this? He's like, yo, that's shielded Zcash, I can't. I was like, wait, it really works like that? He's like brother, it's in the shielded pool. And I was like, wait, it actually works. And he's like, yeah, of course it works. And I'm like, raise my fucking targets. I didn't realize it actually worked. I didn't realize you could just shield it like that."

Threadguy explains why nobody is giving altcoins the respect they deserve for how high they can go "I think the targets for Hyperliquid, Zcash, Venice, Lighter, maybe Pump, are unfathomably high. They're ridiculously high and I don't think anyone really appreciates how crazy it can get because again it's a cycle where there's only a few things to buy and the few things to buy are really good." "It's been 4 or 5 years since a non-meme altcoin has rerated what you thought was possible for how high a coin can go. 2024 it was only the memes. 2023 nothing. 2022 NFTs. You have to go back to 2021 and the L1 trade to find the last time an altcoin that isn't a meme coin just completely shattered expectations. There's way too many HYPE to $150 takes and not nearly enough HYPE to $500. Way too much Venice to $40 and not enough Venice to $200. I don't think these alts are getting respected enough for how stupidly high they can go."
