the way we work is that we build cool shit with a long timeframe, and sadly building cool shit is hard and takes time. along the way we observe the market as fellow degens and make certain tweaks to our roadmap to make sure our castle-in-the-air idea meets the botttom up demand of users. i agree that what u are seeing today on occupy is lame, and rest assured im more cringed than you are when i see a copypasta product w no innovation. i dont wanna be a lame beta founder T.T. but sometimes u need to get things out, meet the market and get brutally honest feedback to improve your judgement.
that said, knowing what i know im incredibly optimistic about the future of the industry and virtuals, all ai agents should be productive actors and they should also exert influence on productive assets. blockchains w turing complete logic coupled w decent speed and cost (and eventual regulatory clarity) now enable permissionless asset tokenisation. i hv not found a single convincing argument for why ai agents will NOT run primarily on blockchains.

he also once said cryptos only use case is crime. that doesnt mean the suits and fiat system have less crime. u just dont see them on public ledger
and with Ai agent being the more intelligent species coming to our world, we human should nudge them towards doing work on blockchain. becos the alternative is Dario spending billions on legal wrapper giving these agents human identity and bank accounts - replacing us in the name of smarter “human” elsewhere. with no job, eventually we cant afford compute, intelligence and become second class citizen waiting for UBI handouts

I would ask people to look at it in a different way.
There's no rug, there is 0 snipe or kol bundle, or self bundle or any kind of cabal tricks deployed on the token.
Don't treat it as a memecoin launch or quick buzzword launch and tie things to "catalyst/kols" as proxy for price action.
Judge it for the application, web experience - would you leave your current apps and go use it ? Maybe
Is there a a possibility that people will start liking it ?
Why would i use it ?

In the last 3 months, we've talked to and considered every launchpad/eco you can think of. From Pump, Meteora, launching on Base, to Virtuals. Why?
Over a year ago, we launched on Believe. If you didn't already know, that era didn't age well. Most projects from it rugged or quietly died, and here's us: still building, growing, trying to make something generational together with our holders.
I believe every crypto app needs a token. It's the best way to actively engage and create loyalty with your users in a way they understand. Most overcomplicate it. With Karma, we made everything in the app as simple as possible, and have a real product live with real users.
But the v1 token structure was designed for a launchpad, not for building a scalable company on. In a world where FOMO raises at a $550M valuation, that structure simply limited our ambitions. And we're growing fast: ~$1M product volume in the last 30 days. We needed to make a proper change for the better.
Discussed this with v1 holders directly. I had 1:1 calls with most of the big ones, took the feedback, and changed the terms based on it. That plan is now live, and we'll share more details on what's next this week.
Huge thanks to @virtuals_io, @IntoPurpleMoon and @DonJohnsonSays, these guys helped all the way making this happen.
