Big Tech CEOs have transformed our world. They've made the world vastly wealthier, but they've also made the world more paranoid, isolated, psychotic, and addicted. And at no point have they really faced consequences for that.

Yes, I think Politico should've included this detail, but it makes Platner's actions look WORSE, not better. Basically, she texted him, then when he drunkenly misread her text as a sexual invitation, she told him NOT to come over and he did anyway.
