Codex is already ast-grep’s co-maintainer and partner: together we built agent-focused Outline, rewrote Tree-sitter’s C core in Rust and made parsing 30% faster, and co-created video introductions. API credits would power daily maintainer automation—issue triage, bug fixes, PR review, docs/tests and releases—and fund experiments, benchmarks, tutorials, and playful demos like Rust Beautifier that showcase ast-grep/wasm in the browser, benefiting downstream users from Codemod to Rspack, SWC and Shopify.
