When I was about 4 years old, I had a daycare teacher flash our whole class. I obviously had no idea she had done anything wrong. So when my mom picked me up and asked how my day was, I casually told her, “My teacher pulled her shirt down and showed us her whole chest.” My mother said, “Oh, ok.” ....I never saw that teacher again. Then when I was older, I had asthma pretty bad. One day at school I had an asthma attack after running around on the playground and had to go to the "mean" school nurse. At some point waiting to get picked up, the nurse told me I shouldn’t have been outside “running around like a wild animal.” Again, I didn’t even realize she had said something offensive to me. Went home. And I can't remember why, but I remember my mom asking me something about the naturally, I told her exactly what she said to me. My mother: “Oh, ok." Years later, I found out my mother to the school and TURNED IT UPSIDE DOWN. Never had a problem from the mean nurse again. Moral of the story... Talk to your kids. Ask them how their day went. Ask what happened. Ask what their teachers said.Ask who they played with. Let them ramble and tell you all the little details because kids will casually tell you something WILD and have absolutely no idea they just told you something you needed to know.

My oldest sister(who was 20 at the time) is super petite. She really looks like she’s still in high school. She was driving herself home late at night from rehearsal. She realized she needed gas. She pulled into a gas station and only half the outside lights were working. There were two men hanging out in the shadows. When she noticed the men, she double checked the mileage left in the gas tank and decided she absolutely could make it all the way home, and fill up her car in the morning. So that’s what she did. I applauded her for listening to her intuition and staying safe. When I told my older brother the story, he poo pooed the entire experience and said 98% of people are not trying to make trouble. I told him to ask every female he knows. And 100% of them would’ve done the same thing.

A lady was praying for a healthy child, she didn't care if it was a boy or girl. Tell me why people came for her in the comments talking about she insulted mothers with disabled children and she should apologise? Are you guys OK? Like for real though, are you OK?She doesn’t owe anyone an apology. She did not insult anyone because ALL mothers pray for a healthy baby but it doesn’t always happen. No one prays to have a child who is sick or has disabilities. But if we do we still love them and want the best possible life for them.
