Reading about Mike Pence -- whose decency and honor does not surprise me -- I thought of George W. Bush, another man of decency and honor. In 2003, Bush hosted his 35th college reunion at the White House. A trans person came up to him and said, "You might remember me as Peter when we left Yale."
