Most of the infra, tech, and laws humanity designed before 2026 were built for humans. That era is ending, and it will be disruptive for every human being on Earth, faster than even the most optimist scientist ever dreamed. A new species is conquering our communications and the network, it’s artificial. We’ll have cyborg-based AGI very soon. Expect a super fast discovery rate, a new world you could only watch in movies and you thought it’s a thousand years ahead. No it will happen in this century. It’s time to redesign everything, if you are slow you lost. Strike that… nothing is, or will ever be, the same again. Things that once took decades will take a couple of years at most. We need to scale. Intelligence is rapidly moving to the next stable layer on the Kardashev civilization scale.

Great piece on Walrus Memory by @KhalaResearch. In my opinion what we feed into our LLMs today is closer to a copy of us than anything a social network ever held. Our private reasoning, business logic, medical questions, the work we would not show another human. It will define our identity down the road + our competitive edge. It’s clear that this memory needs to be portable, so it moves with you across models + vendors. It should be accessible on your terms where you set the rules for who reads what. And it needs to be verifiable so agentic workflows can be built on top of it. This for me is when we see the full force of what agents can do

It’s now obvious that memory is one of the biggest bottlenecks in AI But the next question is whether that memory can be trusted “Context is the new bottleneck” - Jensen Huang at CES 2026 He’s right, but only half right Every AI agent deployed today still has the memory of a goldfish because context windows are stateless by design, starting each session from zero That is unfortunately how LLMs work But storage capacity is only half the battle, the other half is trust Current memory providers can write memories to docs, databases or internal logs, then ask enterprises to trust that record later The problem is obvious: one altered memory corrupts every decision that relied on it As agents move into regulated workflows, this becomes a real issue The EU AI Act requires high-risk AI systems to maintain automatic event logging and traceability, meaning enterprises will need proof of what data an agent accessed, what it remembered and whether that record was tampered with Our latest report covers AI memory and how Walrus tackles this problem with portable, verifiable and programmable memory for agents The full report is in the next post below

Ever wondered if a team could top a World Cup group with just 3 points? Mathematically, it can! If all 6 group matches end in draws, every team finishes on 3 points, and the group winner is decided by tiebreakers. What’s even more surprising is that in the most balanced World Cup groups, the odds of all six matches ending in draws may be as high as 1 in ~650–1100 (~3^6 if with a draw you triple your money)… far more likely than I expected. FYI it never happened yet, the best I can recall is World Cup 1994 Group E between Italy, Ireland, Mexico, Norway. All teams finished on 4 points and 0 goal diff, iirc the only men’s World Cup group ever where everyone ended level on both.

"What's the elevator pitch you'd give someone who has no idea what Sui is doing?" I asked Kostas Chalkias (@kostascrypto), co-founder of the team behind @SuiNetwork, former lead cryptographer on Facebook's Libra, to explain it in plain terms. "You still pay to move your own money between banks on the same continent. We broke that. You can send money for free." "You log in with a Google account. No long passwords, no seed phrases to memorize. For the first time, using a blockchain feels like using anything else you already use." "And it's not just for trading anymore. We built the memory layer for AI agents, heavy data, big operations, things you simply can't do on other chains." "Imagine an agent buying 1% of the Burj Khalifa, selling it for gold, converting to dollars, all in one transaction. For that you need real speed. I can't see how the slower chains do it." Translation: most chains are still selling crypto to crypto people. Kostas is describing something else, infrastructure invisible enough that a normal user never thinks about the blockchain, and fast enough that the next users won't even be human. That's a different bet than "number go up." If your grandmother could use a blockchain without knowing it, would that change how big this gets?

Not for companies that simply use AI, but for those building better AI models and the infrastructure behind them. Provide incentives to bring back expat talent. If you do, your country might have a chance to survive what’s coming.

Ironically, payment lightning ⚡️ channels may be the perfect environment for stateful post-quantum signatures. One of the biggest criticisms of stateful hash-based signatures like XMSS is that you must never sign 2 different messages with the same leaf. Channels already have a strictly increasing state counter, so you can simply map: State i → XMSS leaf i Surprisingly, this isn’t just a cryptographic property, but an economic one. In a well-designed lightning ⚡️ channel, signing 2 different states with the same counter is already irrational, even with ECDSA, because the counterparty can challenge the stale state and invalidate or penalize your attempt. The protocol already discourages equivocation. XMSS just aligns its security model with the protocol’s incentives. What was a wow realization from my today’s hacks? Sometimes the best use case for a stateful primitive is a stateful protocol. Checking edge cases…
