Our wet trash system is one of several life-support systems aboard Haven-1. The system manages wet waste containment with integrated odor control and vacuum venting. It’s part of a comprehensive support system designed to keep crews safe in space.

Another E-2 Block 1 mission duty cycle is in the books as the team continues increasing thrust vector control rates, gimbal range, and cycle count.
This Block 1 engine has now surpassed 2X its rated service life. Testing will continue to further characterize engine life and thrust vector control performance as the team prepares for engine qualification.

E-2 Block 1 has successfully completed a 222-second gimbaled endurance demonstration test at nominal operating conditions.
Testing will continue beyond this engine's rated service life, with progressively higher gimbal rates and larger gimbal angles to further validate durability and performance.

Vast commends @NASA for proceeding with a CLD procurement strategy to achieve an enduring American LEO presence while providing a clear opportunity for commercial providers. The company is racing to get to space in 2027 with Haven-1, which will have room for four people. We saw its manufacturing operations, food labs, the whole Haven-1 design. It was an awesome trip!

Eight wet trash containers will be inside Haven-1 to support the crew during their mission.
The station's waste management system uses odor-control seals and vacuum venting to safely control crew waste within the wet trash units while keeping the habitable environment clean.

E-2 Block 1 has successfully completed a 200-second mission duty cycle test at nominal operating conditions.
This design upgrade reduces mass, simplifies manufacturing, consolidates vehicle interfaces, and incorporates thrust vector control. The next phase of testing will include gimballed engine test fires, followed by engine qualification.
E-2 is the highest performance LOX/kerosene engine in the small launch class.
