@tkinder @TheStalwart I am actually very sympathetic that we are over-anthropomorphizing AI and under-attending to the human direction and agency involved in all these cases.
But if one is too imperialist about pushing back, it does muddy the waters and slow thought, I think.

@xdealsx The ability to instantly exchange written messages with loved ones is one of the most pro-development, pro-literacy, pro-social things that one can offer to a small child. That this isn’t considered braindead obvious is a sign of poisoned thinking about technology and childhood.
