BREAKING: DoorDash unveiled a text-to-order AI agent that works inside iMessage, its answer to popular agentic tools like Instinct and Muse
It is also opening a waitlist for its MCP for enterprise agents to do corporate ordering.
DoorDash doesn’t have an official connector for Muse, but @andyfang told me that’s “TBD”. Doordash is talking with Meta and different AI players to meet users where they are, he said. (CEO Tony Xu is on Meta board)

Meta's new AI agent, Muse, has quickly risen to the top of mobile app charts, a sign that the social media company is gaining traction in the increasingly crowded market for consumer AI assistants
Sensor Tower recorded >902k app downloads in the six days after Muse's launch on Sept. 8. That's more than the 773k downloads of its predecessor, the Meta AI app, in the same post-launch period.
$META shares jumped as much as 12% on Monday. Stocks of Meta's key chip suppliers AMD, Intel and Arm also soared.

Attorneys and legal experts in California, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Washington aren’t convinced that Apple’s privacy protections will sufficiently shield smartwatch users from legal problems.
One Seattle lawyer’s recommendation: “You have to announce, ‘I have an Apple Watch — this Apple Watch is recording.’ Absent that, it is a criminal violation.”
