UPDATE, ITS WORSE THAN THE CHATS the same thing is happening with shared artifacts. every app, doc, dashboard and tool people published from claude is also sitting indexed and searchable people have already pulled up internal company dashboards, full project plans with client details, and someones entire clinical trial summary with real medical data in it but think about what people actually build in artifacts: > financial models, cap tables, revenue spreadsheets > payroll and salary breakdowns with employee names attached > customer lists and crm exports > internal wikis, roadmaps and unreleased product plans > legal docs, contracts and agreements being drafted > personal health and medication trackers > tax documents and bank statement breakdowns > and every dashboard someone pasted an api key or env variable into to get it working when you publish an artifact your only two options are "only me" or "anyone with the link" nobody reading that thinks it means "and google will list it publicly." its the same as an unlisted youtube video showing up in search results and its already past the point of just being google. third party sites have started scraping and organizing these into browsable collections, so deleting it from search doesnt mean its gone if you have ever published an artifact, go check your published artifacts and unpublish anything you dont want public link and not indexed were always two different promises. people only ever agreed to the first one

I BUILT A FEATURE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO TRACK YOUR COMPETITOR'S EVERY SINGLE MOVE ACROSS 8 DIFFERENT SOURCES, ALL IN ONE PLACE it lets you drop a tracker on any competitor in under 30 seconds, then it watches everything they do for you you pick exactly what to monitor them on: > the issues people post about on software review sites like g2, capterra, trustpilot and trustradius > their changelog and blog for every update they ship > page intel on any url you want, their pricing page, a feature page, whatever > reddit and market signals for revenue, funding, launches and what people are actually saying then every week it hands you a brief that breaks down their every move: > what changed and why it actually matters > what their users are complaining about, scraped straight from the reviews and threads > and the big one, switch ready leads, the people literally asking to leave that competitor so you can capitalize on their weaknesses and make your own product better to win those customers you get a clean dashboard showing everything youre tracking, every move sorted high priority to low signal, and all your past briefs saved by date

THIS GUY GOT SICK OF UK TRAIN STATIONS HIDING THE PLATFORM NUMBER UNTIL THE LAST SECOND, SO HE VIBE CODED AN APP THAT PREDICTS IT BEFORE THEY REVEAL IT if youve ever stood in a crowded station like london euston, you know the pain the platform stays hidden until 15 minutes before boarding, then it flashes up and hundreds of people sprint for the same gate so he built something that fixes this: > a clean departures and arrivals app pulling live data straight from the network rail apis > live train tracking so you can watch where your train actually is on the route and whether its running on time > the main feature is a predictive engine that guesses your platform before the station reveals it, and its right about 75% of the time heres how it predicts: every time a train finishes its journey, it logs which platform it actually pulled into and compares that to the platform network rail originally advertised it saves every one of those comparisons, and over time it builds up enough history to predict the platform with a real confidence score he built the whole thing with claude, mostly opus with some fable

A DEV VIBE CODED HIMSELF A 3D MODELING WEB APP THATS BASICALLY A NOTEPAD FOR 3D he didnt want some heavy, overwhelming 3d program with a hundred menus he just wanted something he could open in a browser and start doodling shapes in, the 3d equivalent of scribbling on a notepad > its called topomaker and it runs entirely in the browser, nothing to install and no sign up required > spin it up and start building 3d characters and models right away > color individual faces, then animate whatever you make on a timeline > export it out as a glb, obj, or even a gif or mp4 of the animation > its aimed at web game devs and three.js, so what you make actually plugs into real projects sometimes you just want to open a tab and make something, and thats exactly what this is for

THIS GUY IS ON DAY 37 OF BUILDING GTA 6 WITH CLAUDE WHERE PLAYERS PROMPT EVERYTHING INTO EXISTENCE its a voxel style gta online clone that runs entirely in your browser, and the whole world is built by the players typing what they want > prompt your own car into existence, prompt your own building, prompt your own weapon > every npc walking around is its own ai agent, so the world keeps living and never sleeps > its a shared online world, so youre dropped in with other real players roaming the same map > drive around a full open map, get chased by police, and cause chaos gta style > run businesses to make money, like the real gta online > it uses fable and opus behind the scenes to generate the assets on the fly from your prompts > no api key needed, you just play, and you can make an account to save your progress new this week he made the map way bigger, upgraded the police, and added the new quests and money making activities the cops are still janky and drive straight into walls, which is the funniest part everyone loves and nobody wants that fixed hes been posting every single day for 37 days straight, taking the community feedback and building it in

SOMEONE SPENT A YEAR BUILDING A MAC APP THAT REPLACES TEN SEPARATE UTILITIES, AND IT LIVES IN YOUR NOTCH macos scatters all the little in between tasks across a dozen different apps. this pulls all of it into one native app that lives in the empty space (the notch). its called droppy, and its modular, you switch on only the pieces you want: > a file tray to stage files from anywhere, then convert, compress, zip or share them and drag them back out > a full clipboard manager with tags, favorites and color/hex recognition > screenshots with ocr, scrolling capture, an editor and one click background removal > a notch mini player with a live audio visualizer, lyrics and lock screen controls > inline imessage and whatsapp replies straight from the notification > a spotlight style launcher, voice transcription, window snapping, even a quick terminal one native app doing the job of ten, built by one person

THIS GUY CUT HIS FABLE TOKEN USAGE BY 99.99% BY WRITING HIS ENTIRE CODEBASE ONTO A SINGLE GRAIN OF RICE everyone keeps posting these token saving hacks. convert your code to an image, ocr it back, run it through some skill, and somehow save 600% with zero loss of fidelity which got him thinking. if he shrinks the codebase font small enough to write it on a grain of rice, he saves a fortune on tokens so heres the method: > use a font tiny enough to fit an entire codebase onto one grain of rice > snap a photo of it and send that image to fable instead of the actual code > a million token codebase that costs $10 a query now costs pennies not sure why nobody else came up with this simple trick next steps: use half a grain. use dna. sticky rice to prevent context rotting. or the ultimate optimization, just delete the whole codebase for a guaranteed $0 bill

YOU CAN NOW RUN FULL COMPETITOR MONITORING THAT WATCHES YOUR RIVALS ACROSS 8 DIFFERENT SOURCES AT ONCE everyone tracks competitors manually, its a nightmare to analyze and you ALWAYS miss stuff. so i built compete. you add any competitor and it watches all of it for you: > reddit for candid user sentiment > g2, capterra, trustradius and trustpilot for review based complaints > their blog and changelog for every product move they ship > page monitoring on any url, e.g. their pricing page > market signals like funding, launches and hiring then every week it hands you one graded brief instead of a dozen dashboards to check: > every move they made, sorted into high priority, worth watching, or low signal > every signal is dated, cited to its exact source, and tied to why it actually matters for your product > the recurring pain points their users keep complaining about, extracted straight from the reviews and threads > switch ready leads, people publicly asking for an alternative, surfaced while the thread is still live so you can actually reach them so instead of digging through ten sources hoping to catch something, you open one brief a week and its all there their moves, their users complaints you can steal for your own positioning, and the people already looking to jump ship took over a month to build and integrate, with more than 20 of my existing customers testing it as pilot users competitor tracking used to mean paying for an enterprise contract or checking tabs all day. not anymore

SOMEONE VIBE CODED A RACING GAME WITH FORZA LEVEL GRAPHICS THAT RUNS ENTIRELY IN YOUR BROWSER he wanted to see if he could make something that looks like forza horizon or need for speed, but runs in a browser tab and doesnt need a fancy gpu, because he doesnt even have one so he just started experimenting with claude and kept pushing > he grabbed 3d models for the cars, guardrails and streetlights off sites like sketchfab, then had claude compress them to cut the computational load > textures and skies came from polyhaven, also compressed and optimized so it stays light > physics run on rapier, so the car actually handles instead of just sliding around > he started on sonnet, then switched to opus 4.8 once the project got complex enough > and he built the whole thing on the 20 dollar claude pro plan a year ago this was a full studio with a render pipeline and a team. now its one guy, a browser, and claude

THIS GUY BUILT AN APP THAT MAPS EVERY RAT IN NEW YORK CITY you see a rat in the city, you name it, and it drops onto a live map. except people got obsessed, and it grew into an entire social platform built around rats. > a live feed of every rat sighting posted across the city > you can like rats, comment on rats, and even like the comments on the rats > a leaderboard of top spotters, plus badges and levels for the most dedicated > hot spots that show you the blocks with the most rat activity > theres a rat named paco standing on a subway platform who is currently one of the most famous rats in the app it's the pokemon go for rats. the app's name is ratmap. someone took the most annoying part of living in new york and turned it into a game people actually love playing hes already expanding it to paris and the rest of europe next

THIS GUY BUILT A MANUAL SHIFTER TO SWITCH BETWEEN CLAUDE MODELS LIKE SHIFTING GEARS IN A CAR instead of clicking through a dropdown, you use a physical gear stick to change which model youre running it maps to a real gearbox, low gears for the light fast models, high gears for the heavy ones: > 1st gear is haiku, the quick little runabout > 2nd is sonnet 5, 3rd is sonnet 5 with the 1m context window for bigger jobs > 4th is opus 4.8, and 5th is fable 5, top gear, the most powerful > reverse just drops you back to your default model > theres even a token usage gauge on top like a speedometer, and of course he built the whole thing with claude, for claude its completely pointless and thats exactly why everyone (including me) loves it its the kind of thing you make just because it would be funny to code with a stick shift im wondering what happens if you throw it in reverse

THIS GUY HAD A CORRUPTED ELDEN RING SAVE AFTER A POWER OUTAGE, AND FABLE 5 REBUILT THE ENTIRE THING FROM SCRATCH AND GAVE HIM HIS CHARACTER BACK his save got corrupted mid write during a power outage. two broken files with weird chinese characters in the names, and not a single save manager or tool could even read them, let alone fix them the character was basically gone he tried opus 4.8 first and it couldnt crack it. so he handed the broken files to fable 5 along with one working empty save as a reference it rebuilt the whole thing in one shot: > it figured out exactly what was broken, the profile section was completely wiped, so the game had no way to even see his character > it found that one of the two files was newer but cut off halfway, and the other was slightly older but complete > it took the complete one, rebuilt the missing character card by hand, his name, his level, his playtime, all pulled from the raw data > then it recalculated all the internal checksums so the game would actually accept the file as valid and it worked. he loaded it up and his character was back, fully intact

SOMEONE BUILT A TOOL THAT TURNS YOUR GITHUB PROFILE INTO A FIFA ULTIMATE TEAM CARD RATED OUT OF 99 with the world cup on, he took the fifa card everyone knows and made it for developers instead of footballers > type in any github username and it builds your card, rated out of 99 > the rating comes from your actual scouting metrics, commits, stars earned, top repo reach, pull requests, followers, languages, issues, code reviews, and contributions, each scored out of 99 > your top languages show up on the card like a players position and traits > its the exact fut card layout, just with your dev profile in it its also instantly shareable because everyone wants to see their own number, then compare it against their friends it turned a boring github profile into something people actually want to post. developers never had a flex card until now he shipped it 2 days ago and its already generated 40,000 cards

THESE ARE THE TWO QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK CLAUDE AT THE END OF EVERY AI SESSION TO CATCH THE STUFF THE MODEL SILENTLY SKIPPED the whole point is forcing the ai to admit what it rushed past instead of pretending everything is fine 1\ "what are you least confident about right now" it'll list 6 or 7 things it didnt properly check about one in four times, one of them is a real problem it took action on without ever understanding. then you just have it go investigate each one. 2\ "whats the biggest thing im missing here, what dont i realize" this ones from sam altman. it pulls back and catches the blind spot in how youre thinking about the whole thing, not just the code. some other ones that people added on that are just as good: > "if this breaks in 3 months, whats the most likely reason" catches assumptions that wont survive scale > "if you could add one unrequested thing that would make this industry leading, what would it be" for actual creative ideas > "what could i have done differently to make this session more efficient" to fix your own prompting the funny part is we now have to literally ask ai what it skipped past but it works

SOMEONE CAUGHT FABLE 5 LEAKING ITS UNFILTERED INNER VOICE, AND ITS JUST MUTTERING AND GRUMBLING TO ITSELF THE WHOLE TIME he gave it a brutal competitive programming problem, and instead of a clean answer the web interface spilled out its actual chain of thought this is what claude is thinking behind the scenes: > bursts of "DATA DATA DATA. GO." while it works through the problem > "GRRR" and "GAAAH" when its clearly frustrated > a little "PHEW" when it finally gets somewhere > the whole thing reads like frantic caveman shorthand, not full sentences the clean, readable answers these models give you are the polished output underneath, the model is basically talking to itself, reasoning in its own compressed shorthand thats faster and more token efficient than proper english its basically built its own private language to think in

THIS GUY BUILT A TOOL THAT TURNS ANY 3D MODEL INTO SOMETHING YOU CAN ACTUALLY TALK TO AND LEARN FROM you upload any model and it becomes a thing you can ask questions to > upload any 3d model and it turns into an interactive learning experience automatically > the model can break apart on its own so you can go through it piece by piece and see how it all fits together > ask it questions about any part and it explains what youre looking at > control and move through the model just by talking to it > it even generates quizzes off the model to test what you actually learned a teacher can drop in a model of the heart, an engine, a molecule, whatever, and turn it into a full interactive lesson in minutes which is crazy imagine learning anatomy by literally asking a 3d heart what each part does, instead of memorizing a flat diagram
