Stop conflating Israel and its crimes with Jewish people as a whole.
Look at how Israeli soldiers treat Palestinian children.
Least surprising news ever.

There’s a recurring problem here of Andy Burnham making promises that he either doesn’t understand, or has no intention of fulfilling, or both,
New: Andy Burnham has performed his first u-turn since becoming PM
He told reporters on Monday he was looking at raising the personal tax allowance, after proposing the tax cut in an interview with the Times at the weekend
Tonight aides indicated he won’t go ahead with it

Andy Burnham has approved British support for the illegal US war on Iran.
There are no “defensive strikes”. The US launched an illegal war of aggression.
This means British involvement in war crimes.
Nothing else to say!

EXCLUSIVE: Andy Burnham has approved the use of British military bases by the US for what the UK calls defensive strikes against Iran, in a continuation of Keir Starmer’s policy even as Trump ramps up his war.
Starmer chaired a COBR meeting on Friday to discuss UK policy following the resumption of US operations and amid fears of an escalating conflict.
Ministers at that meeting decided to continue the existing policy that bases at Diego Garcia and RAF Fairford could be used by US planes countering the Iranian missile threat and sites used to target the Strait of Hormuz, sources say.
Burnham, who became PM on Monday, was informed of the discussion and agreed with the decision taken, sources say. He will continue the previous government’s policy when it comes to approving UK bases for so-called defensive US strikes, they say.
It means British bases are likely to be used for some of the current round of American operations.
The decision emerges after the 10th day of renewed US action. US Central Command said it targeted Iranian military command centers, launch sites and air defences overnight. British officials have nonetheless been concerned about Trump’s threats to strike bridges and power plants.
It is likely to provoke criticism from left-wing Labour MPs, the Green Party and the Liberal Democrats who have argued use of the bases makes the UK complicit in war crimes.

Not a fan, but he's right on this one.
This must be opposed.
So is John Healey going to resign again?
Why would he resign over this under Starmer but not Burnham?
Andy Burnham promised to end four decades of neoliberalism.
Here’s why I’m sceptical 👇
Far right higher than either center or center left. Incredible
There is overwhelming evidence that Israel is deliberately killing Palestinian children.
What is more evil than that?
The government is planning to silence its critics.
This is deeply sinister - and another threat to our embattled democracy.
I'm getting a lot of
"Well if you think it's a bad choice, Andy Burnham must be doing something right."
I spent years predicting Keir Starmer would fall apart in office.
Unlike most British journalists!

Appointing John Healey as Chancellor is a big red flag.
There's no evidence he supports any sort of transformative economic agenda.
He does support hiking diverting money from the NHS, education and frontline services in favour of bombs, though!

He just admitted that the government's ID plan was an unfunded commitment.
Good news that VAT will be cut on electricity bills. It’s a simple way for families to save a few quid, and to mechanically help to keep inflation that little bit lower.
But the DigitalID program was unfunded.
The government will have to set out how it will pay for its new policies at the budget.

Reed claims credit for ‘driving... anti-Jewish racists’ from Labour.
In 2020, he forwarded evidence on ten party members & demanded their suspension for antisemitism.
Small problem: four of the ten were Jewish.

Wes Streeting has been made Defence Secretary.
In his released correspondence with Peter Mandelson, he said:
“Israel is committing war crimes before our eyes.”
Journalists should ask him:
1) Does he stand by that?
2) What legal obligations does the UK therefore have?

How can we hope he has a serious plan for ending "the terrible suffering of people in Gaza" when he can't even bring himself to name Israel as the genocidal aggressor causing the suffering?
We need concrete action:a full arms embargo & an end to trade with illegal settlements.

British attitudes towards hugs have changed dramatically since the 1980s.
Ed Miliband has been appointed as Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs
@FCDOGovUK.
Here, the new Foreign Secretary rightly says Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is “illegal”.
He says no such thing about Israel’s genocide.
Burnham has said it’ll be the courts who will decide on war crimes in Gaza.
Yet by stating that Russia’s war is illegal, Miliband accidentally exposes the absurdity of that argument.
He hasn’t waited for the courts to decide there!
He speaks of the “terrible suffering” of Gaza, without naming the perpetrator - Israel.
No sign of any shift in government policy here.
