Capitalism is just so beautiful. $8 trillion worth of market cap coming out in support of open-weight models because it's good for their business and makes them look good... and, totally coincidentally, it also happens to be better for us consumers and practically every business except for a couple of labs. we just get that benefit for free with MSFT and NVDA's self-interest. it brings a tear to the eye 🥲

Scarce Asset Supercycle
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang's leather jacket just sold for $960,000. this is where we are in the cycle rn. New highs for *everything* on the way.
Americans are such firm believers in our ideals that when the leading American lab says “we know what’s best for you trust us” and the leading Chinese lab says “enjoy your freedom model go nuts” we root for the Chinese lab. 🇺🇸

Huge congrats to Standard Nuclear! This is not boring capital’s first IPO, which is exciting, and one of many, many steps on Standard’s path to fueling the electronaissance. THE SPICE MUST FLOW
Standard Nuclear (NYSE: STDN) is officially a public company. 🇺🇸 The advanced nuclear fuel that will power America is now backed by the public markets. @NYSE
So proud of Jordan and the entire @Senra_Systems team. Few know the work it takes - day in day out - to transform the endlessly large and messy market of wire harnessing. Thanks @packyM for shining a light!

People are always like, "Packy, does AI make your graphs? They're too perfect." Nope. Handmade in America.
When people ask why I joined Senra, I just show them this graph
Return on Tokens: Ramp Edition
AI is extremely good at spending your money very quietly. our own token spend went from a rounding error to more than 10% of payroll in a year. one week in May we burned through $1.5 m. our CFO didn't love telling me that number, and he really didn't love telling the internet. but every finance leader we talk to is living the same story. the bill keeps going up and teams can't answer basic questions about it. which team is driving it? which models they're using? what changed this month? whether a cheaper model would do the same job? so finance gets two bad options: keep paying and hope, or cut broadly and slow down the work that's actually compounding. we built a third one. Ramp now connects to OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Cursor and pulls it all into one place. see it, understand it, control it - down to a single API key. built with 1,000+ companies managing 100T+ tokens a month, and now spending less than they expected too! try it today at

Thanks, Packy. The future of manufacturing isn't replacing skilled technicians. It's giving them better tools. Yesterday's Series B helps us keep building exactly that at Senra. Excited for what's ahead.

My first time meeting @jordan__black, we spent the initial 15 minutes of the call riffing on marathon running before he hit me over the head with his intro on Senra - “without wire harnesses, nothing turns on.” You had my curiosity and now you have my attention. Some of you will know what a wire harness is. It is the nervous system of a machine, hundreds of wires, bundled and crimped by hand, routing power and signal to every component that needs to turn on in any modern electrical system, from a satellite to a coffee maker to your car. But many of you won’t, which is fine, and even many of those of you who do won’t understand what makes them important or challenging, and an even smaller number of you will understand why so many people who have made tens of millions of dollars, or more, building reusable rockets in order to make life multiplanetary have decided to dedicate their next chapter to building them instead of angel investing from a beach but, you can find out below. Everyone knows the world needs more VCs writing blog posts so why not collaborate with the best in the business with @packyM to begin. Shoutout @joshzoff for the intro and excited to work with @CaieKelley on Senra’s Series B. As Jordan likes to say, FULL SENRA.

We made a small film some time ago to give an update on our progress. A reminder as to why @buildwithcuby exists. We aim to become “the building company” … infrastructure for how [anything] gets built. We’re starting with housing because it’s the most critical right now. To get costs down and speed up, we have to solve for reduction in specialized labor throughout the build process. It is the biggest needle mover. Therefore, we had to invent a process/system for building without ANY specialized labor. We built a ton of hardware/software to do so and are distributing this system via our Mobile Micro-Factories™ — “a factory in a box” that gets deployed near demand. It attacks construction’s biggest nemesis — logistics. Getting the right people, materials, and information in the right place at the right time. It’s a complex problem — and it’s critical that we solve it. If we get it right, the world will start to feel less bleak.

Again, new to soccer, so pardon me, but it seems that even though the US team is worse than England, the US strategy of scoring goals (more than the other team) is working better than the English strategy of *not* scoring goals.

WHERE IS MY FLYING CAR? Every time a transportation technology lets us go further, faster, we use that technology to expand the radius of our lives. This is Marchetti's Constant. @tsungxu is building flying cars, because the time is right technologically and regulatorily, and because they can eliminate the speed-freedom trade-off that limits every transportation technology. This week's co-written essay explains why now is finally the time for flying cars, and what we can expect our world to look like when we get them.
