It affects 20 percent across the Arab world.
And 22 percent worldwide.
If @NickKristof were a journalist, he would include this context -- and acknowledge that the accusations of "famine" and "genocide" lodged against the Jewish state have always been a lie, and he would acknowledge that he played no small part in helping to promulgate that lie.
But that would require integrity and a commitment to the truth. That would mean setting aside (or growing out of) one's inane, adolescent predilections, the narcissism, the self-righteousness, the self-preening, and becoming a serious person.
