Building out the frontend and product at Trepa has taught me more than the last few years combined, grateful to @guyukyukgu and @_cmger for the shot, and to @anamansari062 for being an incredible person to build alongside. IMO most design work involves choosing between known patterns. At Trepa, we didn't have any. Nobody had made a 60s pari-mutuel prediction round let alone build one that feels calm and intuitive. So the only way to know if a decision was right was to ship it and learn from feedback. Ultimately, we didn't get the traction to prove the mechanism or the UI/UX. But as I think about what's next, this is the kind of work I want, the space before a pattern exists, not after. So if you're building there and need someone on frontend or product, I'd like to talk.
