Inside the hyperboloid vaults of the main nave, there are medallions with different symbols that transform the ceiling into a theological firmament. These medallions are dedicated to Jesus Christ and his attributes.
Christ is represented by the 𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺𝗼𝗻 (𝗫𝗣) and his attributes such as a 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗱𝗲, symbol of supreme justice; a 𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗿𝗲, symbol of authority; the 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀, symbol of savior and redeemer of humanity, through his Passion; and the 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 symbol, which represents the beginning and end of the eternity of his reign.
"Arrels de llum", a concert promoted by the Basilica of the Sagrada Família and the Grec Festival Barcelona to commemorate the centenary of Antoni Gaudí's death, the festival's 50th anniversary and the completion of the tower of Jesus Christ. The proposal intended to pay tribute to Gaudí's spiritual and creative universe through a concert that united music, light, and architecture within a space rich in symbolism.
Today marks 21 years since the Nativity façade and the Temple’s crypt became @UNESCO World Heritage sites, completing the set of seven Antoni Gaudí buildings listed as World Heritage sites in 1984 and 2005.

The importance of light in the Sagrada Família is not found only in the central nave; it also offers us visual spectacles in the various towers through the triangular windows.
🍐 On the Nativity side, on the façade corresponding to the Temple’s lateral naves, there are the baskets of spring and summer fruits, facing east and the start of the day.

This Sunday we enjoyed a popular cultural procession to celebrate the completion of the tower of Jesus Christ and the centenary commemoration of Antoni Gaudí's death. Various groups from the city and neighborhood filled the city with life and we celebrated a true collective commemorative gathering. 🙌

The light show, starting from the base up to the illumination of the cross, culminated with a composition of lights guided by drones that traced the figure of Gaudí and the phrase “first love, then technique”.
