little update: i just left SF 🇺🇸 i came here to make tech 𝑓𝑢𝑛 again. for a long time, i believed that meant a media company (@siliconmania) so i built it alongside other talented people, pushed it forward, brought great people around it and turned it into something valuable. today, i believe "make tech 𝑓𝑢𝑛 again" means something different. something that isn't in SF, but instead, all around the world. this new chapter starts in Hollywood, the land of entertainment ✨ that's my home over the next few weeks. it’s my first time ever here, and i’m so excited! the last few months have been so insane in SF: i arrived as this random (yellow) guy with one dream, some ambition, and enough balls to chase it. SF took it, embraced it, challenged it, felt in love with it, and funded it. a wise man with a great haircut once said: "move to SF, it will change your life." - it's so true. thank you all for all the love and kindness i've been getting over the last few weeks. SF is a very special place full of humble, optimistic and passionate people. i'll miss you all, and i'll miss all those API billboards <3 if anyone is in LA, hit me up 🤙

i’ve a lot to say about each of our investors, but i believe @davemorin 🦞 deserves his own post. the first time i heard about Dave was ~5 months ago through this Stanford study ranking him as « the #1# angel investor in Silicon Valley by number of unicorn investments » ahead of Peter Thiel and Ronald Conway 🤯 and i was even more surprised when i knew that he’s actually deeply involved in OpenClaw 🦞 alongside @steipete, and i’m a huge believer in VC who build. so i was like, let’s reach out to him. i was surprised when he said yes. it was very early, before the magazine, before the night show, before the buzzer, and before everything that’s coming next. but it wasn’t easy though, Dave is probably one of the busiest people on the planet haha (you’ve got a better chance of catching the rarest pokémon on pokémon go than finding an open slot on his calendar 😂) so it took us a while, but when i finally met him and @brit, i left even more excited. we shared the same belief that technology will keep making the world better, and that media has way more value than any spreadsheet can measure. so excited to have dave & brit on board ❤️ time to make tech fun, again.
