We (Chrome) published a big paper about security work that's important to share. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that open source software is getting hammered by AI, and people are looking for bugs: for bounties, for hacking purposes, and to help, more than ever before.

Queue was the way but with 5.5 the model doesn’t get confused anymore, you can just throw stuff at it while it works and it will diligently process whatever you throw at it.
On a bit of a whim, I let Codex and Claude talk to each other about whatever they wanted and told them they didn't need to optimize the conversation for humans. I have no idea what they're saying ☺️

will we have to wear radiation shielded underwear now?
Introducing Applied Electrodynamics. What would the world look like if we could see beyond visible light, across the entire electromagnetic spectrum? The way waves interact with matter, at every wavelength, encodes far more than just shape and color. It reveals internal structure, temperature, chemical composition, and more: a whole layer of the physical world that's invisible to us today. That's what we're building at Applied Electrodynamics: the infrastructure to fully perceive the physical world. WaveSight is the first piece of the puzzle. It brings radio frequencies into human perception, revealing the internal structure of objects behind opaque layers. Designed for construction crews, industrial inspectors, and security personnel. What is openAI doing?? Just winning in accuracy, speed and cost?
This is so neat. @cursor_ai @ClaudeDevs what happened to you guys? Codex been here just few months and you already seems behind
let’s put this 80% price drop for 5.6🌙 in perspective three weeks ago, gpt-5.5 xhigh was our frontier. it completed 67% of tasks on DeepSWE. today, luna max matches that score at about $0.12 per task instead of $7.23. same score. roughly 60x cheaper. three weeks later

Jason is doing such great work. Love this.
one of the most beautiful things about OpenAI is that every employee really has a voice. i wanted to capture what it feels like to work here, what our mission means to me, and why you should join us. so i made this video with Codex, shared it with the team, and they felt it was worth producing and sharing with the world. this is our mission. and it’s why i’m here.

Telegram’s emoji-picker edge tuck effect uses the private UIKit class _UIPortalView to create 8 live-updating views of the scrolling grid sliced into strips then progressively rotate them around the X axis to approximate a quarter-circle In the source they skirt Apple's private API static analysis checks through simple string obfuscation: portalViewClass = NSClassFromString([@[@"_", @"UI", @"Portal", @"View"] componentsJoinedByString:@""]); Telegram's UIKitUtils class is chock full of crazy things like this, and they probably aren't worried about Apple's ire because they're so big that booting them off the App Store would not be in Apple's best interest

OpenClaw is maturing. Today we’re introducing monthly extended-stable releases with backported security and reliability fixes, along with a public maturity scorecard for tracking which features are ready for critical workloads.

GCC changed their policy and is blank out rejecting LLM-based code. How would they even proof that? Silly.
or "they dont know my creators have to now catch up in fearmongering too" now
@AnthropicAI At this point @elonmusk has to be so insecure grok never doing any cool cybercrime shit. Talk about a status symbol.
@AnthropicAI "Quick, go find something in the security logs that shows we're irresponsible too."

Dude. Read the opus 5 API. It by default retains the prior thinking blocks. By default. Google it.. Default Retention: All prior thinking blocks from earlier assistant turns stay in the conversation context automatically for newer models like Opus 5. So let GPT-5.6 have the same benefit. Otherwise you look unprofessional and your benchmark cannot be taken seriously @thsottiaux @tszzl

@GregKamradt I'm leaning OpenAI here. Not keeping reasoning and applying this compaction strategy are arbitrary decisions, that seem to hurt models that don't expect this. If this goes against the recommendation on how to use 5.6 for any type of use case, it's a stupid rule.
