I’ve helped quite a few people get into relationships now [even one marriage & 2 engagements] & the biggest thing I notice is people all have a long list of what they expect, but don’t have a clear picture of who they are or what they can offer to a partner. You can want whatever you want. But the person you choose must also choose you. Lots of comments bashing Brooke for wanting a ‘post economic’ guy. That’s actually not hard to find at all, especially somewhere like sf. Guys with money are a dime a dozen. Some people think they’re post economic at 10M though and some people at 500M. That should be clearly defined if it’s an important quality. A guy who is 35-42, never been married or engaged & has no kids, but is capable of/has the tools to be a good husband, is marriage minded and decidedly wants kids? Much much much less likely to find that than an affable, fit, billionaire. ps I would’ve commented directly on the post, but she has me blocked despite our only interactions ever being me congratulating her on runs. So - if that’s any indicator, personality may also be a challenge to finding a partner here.
