Just dropped off the Model Y L after living with it for 10 days. While I don’t have kids to fully utilize the 2nd and 3rd row, I can still see one joining the flex fleet down the line If/when Tesla brings back FSD transfers, I’ll be ordering a Model Y L… I feel like this is the case for a LOT of current owners 👀

How I Trojan horsed a Model Y into my parent’s garage… I took delivery of my Model Y Launch Series in March 2025. I leased it because I didn’t expect to keep it long. It is an incredible car. I let my mom drive it in May 2025 and she told me she wanted one. We tried to get one before the tax credit ended, but timing just didn’t work out right. In September, I saw an opportunity to offload my Model 3 Performance, transfer FSD to my current Model Y Performance, and get the tax credit before it expired. I took delivery of my Model Y Performance then brought the Model Y Launch Series down to my parents and told my mom it was hers to drive and if they wanted to buy it out of the lease I’d help. 3 weeks later, my moms Acura RDX was collecting dust…so my dad sold it. We bought it out of the lease earlier this year and she’s put nearly 10k miles on it since December. She loves it. It only took 7 years to get another Tesla in my family, but now my little sister wants one 👀
