Newcastle United have completed the signing of €60million plus add-ons signing of Matias Fernandez-Pardo from Lille.
The 21-year-old Belgium international joins on a five-year contract to become Newcastle’s eighth new arrival of a busy summer.
He will wear the No 20 shirt and could make his debut for Matthias Jaissle’s side in Saturday’s home game with Bournemouth.

Exclusive: Brighton have agreed a deal to sign Femi Azeez from Millwall.
The clubs have agreed a deal worth an initial £12.5m with a total package in excess of £15m.
Azeez joined Millwall from Reading in August 2024 for a fee in the region of £1m.

Liverpool are set to complete the signing of goalkeeper Lucca Brughmans from Genk and will loan him back to the Belgian side for the remainder of the season.

Arsenal have confirmed the departure of Fabio Vieira to Hamburg.
The Athletic reported on Sunday that Vieira was set to return to Germany for a fee of around €10m (£8.5m; $11.6m).
