Introducing WHOOP Pace Setters for the Class of 2027 This is a new careers program designed to find exceptional young people at the very beginning of their careers and give them the opportunity to make an extraordinary impact. At a time when many companies are cutting jobs and pulling back on early-career hiring, WHOOP is going in the opposite direction and now looking to actively hire graduating seniors. Conventional wisdom is that AI is going to eliminate entry level jobs and young people are now less valuable. I believe the opposite is more true: AI is a great equalizer and young graduates stand to benefit the most. I started WHOOP when I was a 22 year old senior in college. It wasn’t just the first company I started, it was my first full-time job. I know firsthand that young people have remarkable potential if they're willing to work hard and learn. Our new Pace Setters program is all about finding the next generation of exceptional talent. In July 2027, we’ll welcome our first class of Pace Setters into full-time roles across teams at WHOOP. We’re looking for exceptional graduating students who are ambitious, intellectually curious, competitive, AI ready, and willing to work incredibly hard. Come join us.

UPDATE: Natural Cycles is now included with WHOOP. We’re making one of our biggest investments in women’s health in WHOOP history. Starting today, new and current female WHOOP members who are new to Natural Cycles will receive their first year of the Natural Cycles app included with their WHOOP membership covered by us. Natural Cycles is the world's only FDA-cleared, hormone-free birth control app. Using biomarker data - including overnight temperature from WHOOP - it identifies fertile and non-fertile days to provide personalized fertility insights. Beyond birth control, it also supports women through pregnancy planning, pregnancy, postpartum, and perimenopause. Over the last few months, we've worked closely with the Natural Cycles team to create an experience that feels truly unique. We didn't want to simply offer another integration. We wanted to make it a seamless part of the WHOOP experience. And with the first year included, there's no additional subscription required.

Whoop AI can now create custom graphs for you of your data. It will keep getting better.
The new @whoop interactive "all time history" chart confirm what I felt: I am at my fittest in July over the years (2019-now), when summarised by HRV and resting heart rate. December is a particular "bad" month, much shorter daylight in The Netherlands and way more eating/drinking due to Christmas/NYE. @willahmed this is a really cool feature for folks with a long historic data record! Thanks!!

A few principles I’ve come to believe about competition: 1) You’re more likely to win or lose because of your own company’s actions than those of your competition. This is particularly true of startups but I’ve found surprisingly true at scale as well. 2) Being copied isn’t always inspiring. But it usually means you’re leading. Don’t waste energy looking over your shoulder. Lead, don’t follow. 3) There’s more to learn from customers than competitors. Consumer markets are hard, but they’re honest. Sales, engagement, and retention are the only scoreboard that matters. 4) There’s a difference between obsessing over competitors and harnessing a deeply competitive spirit. The former distracts you from your true intuition. The latter gives you the extra motivation to do your best work. 5) Creating a market is valuable. Continuing to lead after others copy you is even more valuable. You’re innovative and durable. 6) Remember big, growing markets attract competition. Competition validates the opportunity. Now go win.

Big news: the FDA has formally closed its warning letter on WHOOP Blood Pressure Insights. We stood by the science and the belief that safe, transparent wellness insights can help people better understand their health. As background we launched Blood Pressure Insights last year as a first-of-its-kind feature to give members daily BP estimates and explain how BP affects their wellness. The FDA sent us a warning letter claiming that Blood Pressure can only be used for medical diagnosis. This of course contradicts what medical research says about Blood Pressure in the context of sleep, stress, exercise etc. WHOOP fought for our position and the FDA has ultimately updated their guidelines to now include Blood Pressure as a wellness metric. This is a win for WHOOP and consumers. Proud of our team. Thank you to the FDA. Onwards.
