More 9s of trash code than GitHub’s uptime lately tbqh
the painful thing about this GitHub situation is that 50% of that code probably absolute trash
H2C has been such a good decision
First email provider to embrace MCP may get me off Gmail…
is there an alternative to nest protect smoke alarms that doesnt suck these days? 1) it does not need to sound at 100db 2) the mobile app's push to silence has to actually work we installed the first alert replicas and they're utter trash woken up at 430am (2nd time now) from nuisance alert and its the loudest thing you can possibly imagine with 8 (!!!) of these blaring while you're half asleep. ears didnt stop ringing for the next hour

I don’t agree with Stripes pov that more software being created means more technological progress at a pace that translates to the singularity effect It might happen, but it’d be like saying Wordpress or Shopify were versions of this because they enabled people to do more

Love seeing all the Omarchy updates from @dhh (and I don’t even use it!) That’s what passion/ambition looks like - more builders should start there
I don't think people truly understand just how determined I am at making Linux succeed on the desktop.
This is what market expansion looks like
We exceeded our annual paid users goal just halfway through the year. Turns out the Sentry concept of issues with context that help debug and fix faster is even more valuable as the world builds more software (humans and agents). Sentry is for EVERY builder out there. The Fortune 500,0000. - The tattoo parlor getting its first booking site online. - A YC startup shipping multiple times a day. - An F500 team rebuilding on a modern stack. 🙏 @sentry community. Job not finished.

this chart basically is if you are rich, you will continue to be rich
I took the investor table from Cursor's $60B exit, and turned it into this graphic with Claude. Some quick notes: each box represents an investor, and the scales are in 4th root (for better visibility). x-axis is money in, y-axis is money out. Each box spans the approximate range of both. The further up and left a box, the larger the ratio of outcome. The boxes try to capture some of the ambiguity on investment size / terms, and range of outcome possible. The most notable one here probably is Ali Partovi's Neo writing a pre-seed check which ~3000x’d in about 4 years. The OpenAI startup fund did quite well here themselves with a nice 500-800x. Thrive, while a bit later, made the most in absolute value, netting somewhere in the range of $7B to $11B

Obvious failure here is the agent wasted time cloning just to swap sandboxes. Dont yet have a good solution so making clone error out if it should have a workspace selection. Thinking we may just restrict repos to have a single default workspace and auto switch

The idea of adding "make no mistakes" or similar to your prompt is just a joke, right? Nobody actually does that, right?
