Quantum computing is moving from theory to national priority. On Fox Business, BTQ Head of Silicon Product @pq_hackett discusses President Trump’s new quantum executive orders, the security threat posed by quantum computers, and why post-quantum infrastructure must be built before Q-Day. BTQ is building trusted quantum technology to help secure the digital systems, financial networks, and cryptocurrencies that depend on today’s encryption. $BTQ

burh.. - IonQ ($IONQ) announced a multi-year strategic collaboration with Korean quantum technology and software company SDT Inc., under which IonQ plans to supply SDT with a Superion 256 quantum computer and a silicon-vacancy (SiV) quantum memory module. - The partnership expands their relationship from cloud-based software integration into physical hardware production, assembly, system integration, and regional resale in Korea and Asia. - SDT plans to establish a dedicated quantum manufacturing and system-integration facility in Gumi, South Korea, where SiV quantum memory packaging and manufacturing, quantum system assembly, integration, and commissioning are expected to take place. - $IONQ described the agreement as another example of growing global demand for Superion 256 while emphasizing its broader strategy of combining quantum computing with quantum networking and quantum memory. - The announcement did not disclose the contract value or a specific delivery timeline. > The interesting part is that this is not simply a sale of a quantum computer into Korea. $IONQ is increasingly positioning computing, networking, and memory as an integrated system while establishing part of the manufacturing, packaging, and system-integration footprint in Korea. > If the planned SiV quantum memory packaging and manufacturing operation in Gumi is executed as described, it could suggest that Korea may become more than an end market for $IONQ and develop into part of its Asia-Pacific quantum hardware supply chain and system-integration infrastructure.
