Aside from being cute, squirrels are a surprisingly clever part of our urban wildlife…these little guys are masters of memory! They can remember hundreds of hiding spots for nuts, seeds, and berries using landmarks and scent cues to retrieve them later.

Seven female beluga whales have safely arrived at SeaWorld San Antonio after being transported from the shuttered Marineland theme park in Canada. The historic move marks the largest beluga whale transfer ever completed in the United States and brings the total number of rescued whales to 13. The first relocation in July sent two belugas to SeaWorld San Antonio and four to Chicago's Shedd Aquarium. The remaining 17 whales will be relocated to aquariums across the U.S. and an aquarium in Spain over the coming months.
