if we double the industrial production in outer-space every 12 months starting from some initial seed in 2030 then we hit Kardashev I by 2064 and Kardashev II by 2098. If we take 24 months for each doubling, we still hit Kardashev I by 2096 and Kardashev II by 2165

In 2015, humanoid robots were still struggling with basic tasks like walking, climbing stairs and recovering from falls during the DARPA Robotics Challenge.
Fast-forward to 2026, and humanoids are running, jumping, boxing, playing football, handling industrial tasks and operating in real-world environments. The World Humanoid Robot Games featured 2,056 robots across 51 events, including practical tasks in factories, hotels and homes.
The progress is obvious. But the real question is not how impressive they look in a demo.
What will humanoid robots be capable of in 2036? 👀

i love it when i ask a model how long something will take and it goes "this would take a human team 6 months!" and i reply "no, no, how long will it take YOU?" and it just sorta does a O.O and doesn't know how to measure time or its own abilities
