Seems @Tesla missed the mark with 2026.21.300. FSD is acting weird since the update, like an annoying wheel wobble. Doesnโt pass the wife test anymore (which it did before). Time for the summer update?

Last week I got permission to drive again. First time in a year!
Why? A year ago, I blacked out behind the wheel and crashed straight into another car. We had our three kids in the back (our youngest was 2 months old at the time), but thankfully everyone was okay.
Turned out to be a form of epilepsy, so I wasn't allowed to drive for a year.
(Which is super practical with 3 young kids ๐ My wife drove me pretty much everywhere for a whole year โค๏ธ)
The thing is... Being allowed to drive and feeling safe are two different things. What if it ever happens again?
Hopefully never, but there's no way to be 100% sure.
So yesterday, we picked up our Tesla Model Y with Full Self Drive ๐
I've followed the technology for years, mainly because I'm a nerd and think it's cool (after all, my business runs on AI from A-Z) ๐ค
But after the accident, it stopped being just a fun tech feature.
Sure, I still have to pay attention, but it's amazing how well it drives (better than some humans ๐).
For us, it feels like an extra layer of protection.
Funny how quickly technology can go from "that would be cool" to "I'm really glad this exists."

Picked up a new Model Y today, and it had 2026.21.100 pre-installed. Was able to use FSD right away (after a quick camera calibration, that is).
People in the US have no idea how good they have it. The โฌ55k+ car I just ordered (Tesla Model Y) costs $50k USD incl. tax in the US (that's less than โฌ45k). A โฌ10k+ difference! Thanks, Europe ๐ซก

Years ago a guy took a train to my city, then walked an hour and a half to my front door. Unannounced.
Bad timing. I had a webinar starting, could only give him 10 minutes. Still feel bad about it.
But here's the thing. If he'd emailed me, I'd have never seen it. My team handled hundreds a day.
He got in because he just showed up.

Bought a Kamado recently. Big ceramic grill I'd wanted for years.
But I knew us. Three small kids, the grill outside and the rest of the cooking inside, someone walking back and forth all evening. We'd probably use it twice and let it collect dust.
So I bought the full outdoor kitchen at the same time. Tap, counter, real prep space. Now there's no reason to step back inside.
Reminder I keep needing. The best result doesn't matter if getting there is too much hassle. People just stop.
