I sat at $100 MRR for 6 months. today: $15k MRR. nothing viral happened. I just did 4 things, in this order: 1. 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 talk to the people who didn't convert. talk to the people who churned. ask them why. whatever they tell you is what makes your offer worth paying for. 2. 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 aim for at least 100 visitors/week you can repeat every week. mine was Reddit. helpful replies where people ask for tools like mine. 5 minutes a day got me 100+ visitors/week. 3. 𝗙𝗶𝘅 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 track 4 numbers: visitor → signup, signup → trial, trial → paid, churn. fix the worst one first. then repeat for the next one. if your funnel leaks, more traffic just means more disappointment. I went from $1k to $15k MRR just by improving my funnel, not stacking more channels. 4. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀 once your funnel converts and retains well, now's the time to add more marketing channels. keep doing what already works. add new channels on top of it. --- do these 4 steps in order and I promise you'll no longer be stuck.
