Egypt launched the surprise attack on October 6, 1973, principally to reverse the territorial losses of the 1967 war. What is particularly important is that Anwar Sadat’s strategy was deliberately limited: Egyptian forces crossed the Suez Canal and established positions in the Sinai rather than attempting a military conquest of Israel. Egypt celebrated the war as a victory because it broke the post-1967 status quo and recovered a foothold in the Sinai—not because it had launched a war to eradicate the Jewish state. None of this is secret or some revisionist interpretation of the 1973 war. You can find it in the work of Israeli historians and in declassified U.S. government records. Never learn history through the eyes of propagandists.

Hamas’s military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, just posted on its Telegram channel asking for donations. Gaza has been devastated, tens of thousands killed, and Palestinians have paid an unimaginable price—and these people are still begging for money to fund their terrorism.

We have reached a stage where we actually have to prove to the world that the 20,000 children killed in Gaza by the Israeli army were not “Hamas militants.” Those propagandists who try to justify the killing of children represent the absolute worst of humanity.

By pardoning Elor Azaria, who was convicted of manslaughter a decade ago for killing a wounded Palestinian attacker, Israeli President Isaac Herzog is following in the footsteps of his late father, President Chaim Herzog, who in 1986 pardoned the head of Israel's internal security agency, the Shin Bet, and four of its officers who were involved in ordering and covering up the killing of a Palestinian bus hijacker. The difference between these two pardons 40 years apart is that back then the "Bus 300 affair," as Israelis called it, was a national scandal that shocked most Israelis. Azaria, by contrast, was hailed as a hero by many Israelis and there will probably be little, if any, public outrage over his pardon.

This stupid argument relies on a narrative of perpetual victimization that frames criticism of Israel as hostility toward Israelis themselves. I think the killing of 20,000 Palestinian children in Gaza and Israeli settler terrorism in the West Bank are more than enough to generate international outrage.

Avigdor Liberman, chairman of the opposition Yisrael Beytenu party, is calling on the Israeli army to flatten an entire Palestinian village. Liberman is considered part of the opposition to Netanyahu.

Hamas issued a statement: “We call upon the masses of our steadfast people in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, and in every corner of the homeland, to escalate resistance operations with all their tools.” This is exactly what the Israeli government wants. They do not even hide it: they want to ethnically cleanse Palestinians from the West Bank, using any excuse Hamas is working so hard to provide. Thank God, there are still sane people in the West Bank who understand Hamas’s plans. After what they saw in Gaza, many now throw every Hamas statement in the trash. Hamas poses a danger to Palestinian presence and national interests, just as the Israeli government and settler movement do. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is trying very hard to bring Hamas into the PLO. That would be a terrible decision. Hamas belongs outside Palestinian political life, not in the Palestinian national leadership.

The Israeli army is now blocking Palestinian towns in the northern West Bank with Palestinian cars because there are no iron gates in that area. But of course, according to Israeli propagandists, this is not collective punishment.

A non-Jew calling a Jewish person a “Kapo” is antisemitic. And here, Brianna Wu is engaging in exactly that kind of antisemitic rhetoric simply because the Jewish person they are attacking disagrees with them politically about Israel. Yet many people who claim to fight antisemitism will suddenly find excuses for antisemitic rhetoric when it comes from someone who supports Israel. Disgusting.

A video from today shows Israeli settler terrorists attacking the village of Al-Mughayyir in the West Bank, right in front of Israeli soldiers who stand by and do nothing to stop the attack.

Nothing here has anything to do with Israel: Turning Point USA, a church, worshipping Jesus, hearing the Gospel—so why do you guys feel the need to feature the Israeli flag? This is just ridiculous.
