💥NEW: CNN's David Axelrod just admitted what few Democrats are willing to acknowledge: Trump is "VERY SOPHISTICATED." Axelrod noted Trump commandeered the news cycle with his ban against CNN, MS NOW, and Politico. So many shows devoted significant time to the president's press ban. Instead of discussing gas prices and other issues to hurt Trump, they fell right into his trap. Trump also picked the perfect target for his news cycle hijacking operation: the media. Americans' trust in the media hit a record low of just 28% in 2025, according to Gallup. It's not just Trump supporters who have lost faith in the media either. Republicans, Independents, and Democrats all have historically low trust in the institution. "Very sophisticated" may even be an understatement from Axelrod. Trump is a genius.

I knew I did my best to qualify for the Original Content Rewards Program. I felt my rejection was a mistake, but left open the possibility that I was ineligible for an unknown reason. Now that I've seen who has gotten in, I'm confident I should've been accepted. I’m concerned X is playing favorites rather than using consistent standards in their review process. I'm not sure why I didn't make the cut: - I got over 500 million impressions in the past year. - I added original commentary to every post since the new guidelines were released. - I never copy content from other accounts. If this rejection is not reversed by Tuesday, I'll be exploring other options. I refuse to go pedal to the metal only to get rejected once again in a month. @tomselliott .@JasonJournoDC should absolutely be allowed in. He specifically focuses on clipping from sources that practically NOBODY else is clipping from. Which opens up the door to discussions that wouldn’t be had otherwise.

I never copy other accounts. Yet @XCreators rejected my application and appeal. Please reverse this @allegrajacchia @myleswagner

Clips that are new to X should count as original content. Accounts like @TheChiefNerd, @JasonJournoDC, and mine bring content to X that wasn’t here before. We also add context for why it matters. If there’s no reason to keep clipping to X, that’s a huge loss for how useful this platform is. I trust @elonmusk will fix this. He’s shown he’ll move fast, break things, then course-correct when it goes too far.
