On the topic of detransition lawsuits, I often get asked why I don't have one running at the moment given the extensive harm and fraud I and my mother endured, and the answer is complex. See unfortunately some, but not all, have politized their fight and either do not believe a gender non-conforming individual would draw sympathy from a jury or that it would overcomplicate the case. Others will simply say you are out of the SOL, and do not want to fight for a toll, others will simply cover their eyes and tell you that the chances of others having gone through the same abuse or fraud is too speculative to proceed, finally others will say because you've already spoken out there is no claim. What we need is more lawyers who are compassionate across the board who are also willing to fight for what is right for all of the victims of this medical scandal. Especially the child victims such as myself. Thus far in the current climate predatory practitioners such as the people who did this to me have been given ample time to begin erasing potentially damning evidence and that is a failure of the justice system. In fact, what has prompted me to write this post is I had found out yesterday that my doctors have been given enough time to start scrubbing evidence from the Internet. My endocrinologist used to have a YouTube channel it's now gone, and there was a talk he gave for the University he works at where he was discussing child sex change interventions in children and adolescents as well as how to get insurance coverage. Seeing my perpetrators be given the opportunity to cover for themselves as I fight relentlessly for a case I just can't help but feel completely failed by the very people I was supposed to turn too in the US, who instead have thus far chosen to look the other way thereby allowing my perpetrators to get away with no consequences. I will forever have to live with the effects of a grown man's actions upon my body and had ample evidence of fraud and other abuses yet no one has cared to do anything about it.
