I talk about life and relationships but I’m also into anything CNG, from conversation of cars, to selling of kits and cylinders, and installation of stations.
Abuja landlords are worse, 2021 we were paying 1.1Million for a 2 bedroom apartment in Kubwa phase 4, when price of cement increased around 2023… behold our landlord increased the rent to 1.350Million, and the only excuse this man gave was “cement cost” like who increases house rent for a house he built in 2019 to cement increases in 2023 ?
A rent that started at ₦250k in 2018 went to ₦400k, ₦500k, ₦600k, ₦750k, ₦900k, ₦1m, then ₦1.2m… and suddenly jumped to ₦2.5m.
Now the landlord wants two years’ rent upfront, and has given my friend and her family of six three months to pay or leave the house.
Tinubu and his supporters aside, Nigerians are their own second problem because how is a family supposed to keep up with this kind of increase? God abeg.
