As a country we have crossed too many lines that were never meant to be crossed … and we are and will be living in the consequences for decades to come 🤦🏻‍♀️ … only by the Grace of God is there any turning back or salvation at this point. It all saddens me deeply, especially when I consider the future for my precious daughter and her family. When do we just STOP 🛑 this insanity, for humanity’s sake🤔

✨✨🙏🏻POWER PRAYER🙏🏻✨✨ Continuing the conversation on how impactful the Book of Ephesians is let’s explore chapter 2… Ephesians 2:8-9 is the key passage most often highlighted from the chapter: “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” (ESV) Verse 10 is frequently included with it “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” These verses capture the heart of the chapter: salvation is entirely by God’s grace through faith, not by human effort, and it leads to a life of good works that flow from that gift rather than earn it. • Grace is the source of our salvation. • Faith is the empty hand that receives it. • Works play no part in earning it. This means salvation is completely a gift. We contribute nothing to it except the sin that made it necessary. God does all the saving. What grace is (and is not): • Grace is not God overlooking sin or pretending it doesn’t matter. • Grace is God fully dealing with our sin through the death of Jesus, then freely offering us forgiveness, new life, and adoption as His children. It is the opposite of a wage. A wage is something you earn. Grace is something you receive. Why this matters so deeply: If salvation depended even partly on our performance, we would always live in fear or pride — either terrified we hadn’t done enough, or boasting that we had. Grace removes both. It leaves us with only gratitude. And verse 10 completes the picture: the same grace that saves us also transforms us. We are “His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.” The good works don’t save us — they flow out of the salvation we have already freely received. In short: Grace is God loving us not because of who we are or what we do, but because of who He is. ✨✨🙏🏻✨✨🙏🏻✨✨🙏🏻✨✨ Heavenly Father, Thank You for the immeasurable gift of Your grace. By Your mercy alone I have been saved through faith — not by anything I have done, not by my strength or my efforts, but solely by the finished work of Jesus Christ. This salvation is Your gift, freely given, so that no one may boast. I receive it with open hands and a humble heart. You have made me Your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for the good works You prepared long ago. Help me to walk in them today — not to earn Your love, but because I already have it. Keep my eyes fixed on the cross, where grace was poured out without measure. Let gratitude silence every prideful thought, and let Your Spirit empower every step I take.
