Today, after IBM released selected preliminary Q2 2026 results, its stock plunged more than 22% in premarket trading and a Goku fan on Hyperliquid was the first to take advantage of the move.
Analysts expected IBM to generate $17.86B in revenue, but the company reported preliminary revenue of $17.2B, approximately 3.7% below consensus.
Revenue was still up 1% year over year.
Although IBM’s final Q2 results will be released on July 22, the market reacted immediately to the preliminary announcement.
