Our long-range responses had a very significant impact in the Moscow region last night. One of Russia’s key oil industry facilities and the aggressor’s logistics facility were hit. These are billions of dollars that sustain the war machine. The systems used included FP-1, RZ-100, MICH-2000, Palianytsia, Vendetta, Liutyi, Bars, Flamingo, Sichen, and Pelican. I thank our warriors for their accuracy: the Security Service of Ukraine together with the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, and the Foreign Intelligence Service. Sanctions were also imposed on a facility in the Voronezh region. Moscow must end its brutal war and choose peace instead of building layered rings of air defense at the expense of other regions. Steps toward de-escalation are on the table – in energy and food security. What is needed is political will. I thank everyone who is strengthening Ukraine’s long-range capabilities. I’m hearing of multiple organizations pulling back on their token spend due to low ROI on their AI deployments. If the AI trade falters it would be a major problem for . . . well the entire economy at this point.

For 15 years we paid $78 per month for my Husband’s $150,000 life insurance policy. Then a few years ago they raised it to $300. Then two months ago now that he turned 73 they raised it to $700 per month! This is ridiculous. Now when he is older and may die we can’t afford it. This should be illegal!

An advisor likely had him in a diversified portfolio which is why it won’t track the S&P 500 returns… People who argue “advisor bad just VOO and chill” have a much too simplistic view of portfolio construction, and no concept of managing risk (especially for someone going into retirement). It also begs the question what other services did the advisor provide for their fee? I think VOO is an incredible asset to have exposure to, but people have to understand how to compare returns appropriately.
