Trader Mayne Live on @notthreadguy right now, defending all the Plumbers 🪠
Tradermayne breaks down why crypto Twitter is full of larps. "According to Twitter, according to social media, everybody is always long everything all the time. Like, if something went up, you know, damn well, everyone on Twitter magically longed it. Even though they never talked about it before, they might've bear posted it an hour before it went up. It doesn't matter. They long the bottom. All of these people, for the most part, are fucking LARPs." Feat. @Tradermayne

Tradermayne shares that hyperliquid:native has a higher upside potential to grow your bag than $BTC. "If you're willing to take the risk and you're like, I got 10 grand, and I want to turn it into 100k or 50k, 60, 70k, I give a better chance doing that in hyperliquid:native than you do in Bitcoin." Tradermayne highlights the importance of people cashing out their meme coin gains. "If you made a bunch of money on a meme coin, I think you should cash it out. Secure your life, change your life, buy some real assets, a house, Bitcoin, watches, stuff that's real and tangible because most coins are going to zero." Feat. @Tradermayne

Tradermayne reveals the shrinking amplitude pattern before a reversal on bitcoin:native. "When we broke out from here to the next high, right? It was 141%. And then from here to the next high was only 47%. And then from here to the next high was only 16%. And even more tightly from here to here, right? 10% from here to here, right? Only 5% from here to here, right? 9, 10, 5. So as this uptrend got longer in the tooth, the moves up, the peaks became shallower, as did the dips, right? And that's usually prices losing momentum, and then you get a reversal, and the downside works the exact same." Feat. @Tradermayne

Tradermayne explains that this dip would be a gift to get long on hyperliquid:native. "I want to be like, this is a gift from upon high to get long, relatively cheap hype before the next bull run starts. So I'm still very bullish Hyperliquid. Short term, if the market's going to go up from here, this is kind of like right bang on demand." Feat. @Tradermayne @krakenpro

Will the Fed change interest rates in July? 🏦 The July FOMC meeting is shaping up to be one of the biggest macro events of the month. At the Fed's June meeting, the first under new Chair Kevin Warsh, officials left interest rates unchanged. But the meeting also revealed a divided committee, with some policymakers warning that persistent inflation could eventually require higher rates. Warsh offered little forward guidance, leaving markets with more questions than answers. Now, all eyes are on the economic data still to come, especially this week's CPI report, as traders try to predict what the Fed will do on July 29.

Tradermayne outlines how he lost $2500 live on Polymarket betting Colombia over Switzerland. "I ripped a bet. Live on Polymarket. I was kind of like waiting for the odds to get better. I was like, okay, maybe Switzerland will score. But Colombia was kind of just, I think, dominating. They were controlling, I think, more of the possession time than Switzerland. So I just ripped the bet, like $2,500, and yeah, lost in shootout. Very disappointing." Feat. @Tradermayne @Polymarket

This one has all the ingredients for a classic, don't miss it. Live today: 5:00 PM EDT 🇳🇴 Norway vs. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 England Polymarket traders give Norway a 25% chance of winning, compared to 51% for England. England enters as the favorite thanks to its stronger midfield, greater tournament experience, better squad depth, and multiple ways to score. Norway, on the other hand, relies heavily on Erling. They don't need 20 shots if Haaland gets quality service. Confidence is sky-high after eliminating Brazil, and their counter-attacking threat could prove dangerous.

Tradermayne highlights that a human-looking robot hand folding laundry is giving him serious iRobot Black Mirror vibes. "This feels iRobot, like scary level of Black Mirror future where you wake up, and this, you know, amorphous face is staring over you as it's like holding a pillow and it's about to put you out." 22,000 BTC option contracts, roughly $1.4B notional expire today. On the surface, that sounds like a recipe for volatility, but it's worth digging a level deeper. Current positioning is relatively balanced, with a put/call ratio of 0.90, while max pain sits near $61,000. Neither metric guarantees where price is headed, but they do give us context for how participants are positioned into today's settlement. The expiry is the event. The reaction is the signal.

We got 🇪🇸 Spain vs. 🇧🇪 Belgium Today 3:00 p.m. ET Polymarket traders give Spain a 60% chance of winning the match, compared to just 17% for Belgium. Viewers expect Spain to win as well, due to their recent excellent undefeated performance and very solid defense (they are yet to concede a goal in the knockout stages). Their style is possession-based, technical, and hard to break down.

Tradermayne unpacks that a 6% yield with FDIC insurance up to 10 million sounds great, but the math only works if you're already rich. "This tweet is the equivalent of, if I had a shit ton of money, it would be so easy to just make more money and live off the interest. If I only had $10 million, I would just fucking plop it in here and get 6% forever and live off the $600K. Most people don't have fucking two pennies to rub together, let alone $10 million that you can just throw in here." Feat. @Tradermayne

Tradermayne reveals why he’s cautious on stocks despite new highs. "Like every alert, my just looking at the chart, looking at the chart, the things that make up this chart, looking at all of the additional data about just how levered over-equitized everything is. I just find it really hard to be like bullish on the S&P 500 here." Feat. @Tradermayne

Tradermayne outlines why social media is a terrible trading strategy. "If you're like, "Hey, I took the long because of this, this, and this, and this is what happened," you know, that, that seems at least a lot more substantial, substantive, something that you can actually defend, versus, you know, oh, some guy on Twitter tweeted a smiley face." Tradermayne highlights the two scenarios he's anticipating for a cycle low on $BTC. "One more low, maybe take out this low is what I'd love to see, uh, and then bottom later this year going into 2027." "The bottom is actually already in, and now it's just a function of time. So rather than having another low, we might just have time-based consolidation, and then that's it. The low is in." Feat. @Tradermayne
