ADN: Elon Musk spends big in push to repeal Alaska’s voting system
Tech billionaire Elon Musk has given $1.5 million to a group supporting the repeal of Alaska’s voting system, according to a report filed with the state Friday.
Ballot Measure 2, which will appear on the November ballot, seeks to repeal Alaska’s ranked choice voting method, along with open primaries and campaign finance laws that were themselves adopted by ballot measure in 2020.

Politico: Abdul El-Sayed reached out to McMorrow directly after she suspended her campaign, and Stevens had not.
Reached for comment Sunday evening, a Stevens spokesperson said Stevens texted McMorrow after learning from POLITICO that El-Sayed had already contacted her.

The irony is that Democrats boosted his campaign for Senate in Ohio and went on to win the general.
Bernie Moreno (R-OH) a very disinterested observer of the political scene wants el-Sayed to be the nominee in Michigan and perhaps even more wants AES supporters to feel embittered if he loses the primary.
