To collaborate successfully, you have to do three things: First, put your honest thoughts on the table for everybody to look at. Everyone's thoughts are different, and you have to be willing to look at them openly. Second, know the art of thoughtful disagreement. Ask yourself: how do you work through disagreements to get a better answer than you would have come up with individually? Third, if the disagreements remain, you have to have protocols for getting past that. In our case, we have an "idea meritocracy" through believability-weighted decision-making. When you have a system where the best ideas win out, the results are going to be so much better than if you just stuck with the ideas inside your own head. #Collaboration# #IdeaMeritocracy# #Teamwork# #RayDalio#
