🚨 NGOs ARE BEING USED TO HELP INTERNATIONAL GRADUATES “STOP” THEIR OPT CLOCK WITH UNPAID WORK. One website, OPT4Humanity, literally advertises unpaid OPT labor to nonprofits and startups. It tells organizations they can bring on international graduates as: • Unpaid volunteers • Equity-compensated workers • Project-based collaborators • Part-time employees And here’s the sales pitch: “Your mission moves forward without adding payroll cost.” The site says most placements are part-time and remote. It also explains what’s at stake for the graduate: “Without a role, a graduate’s time in the U.S. can end on a deadline.” And: “Don’t let the 90-day unemployment clock pressure your job search.” OPT4Humanity currently shows 3,560 candidate profiles. And it’s not alone. A LinkedIn post telling international students how to “stop your OPT clock” lists 12 NGOs, nonprofits and platforms, including OPT4Humanity and Community Dreams Foundation. The arrangement: Organizations get skilled labor with little or no payroll cost. OPT graduates get qualifying activity that can stop the unemployment clock. Unpaid work can be permitted under regular OPT when it meets federal requirements. But how large is this ecosystem of NGOs and nonprofits providing unpaid work that allows international graduates to remain in the U.S. while searching for paid employment? @SecRubio @AAGDhillon @USLaborIG @StephenM @Sonderling47

🚨 LISTEN TO EVERY WORD OF THIS SPEECH. Marco Rubio is talking about the terrible mistake America made with manufacturing. But listen again and think about America’s SKILLED WORKFORCE. We were told it didn’t matter WHERE things were made. Find the lowest cost. Maximize efficiency. Maximize profits. Then we woke up and realized we had hollowed out our own industrial capacity and become dangerously dependent on other countries. Now we’re being told something remarkably similar about our skilled workforce. It doesn’t matter WHO develops the software, engineers the systems, analyzes the data or builds the technology. Just find the talent wherever it comes from. Meanwhile, American graduates are trying to break into these careers while employers can recruit through H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT and CPT. Here’s the lesson I take from Rubio’s speech: A country’s capacity isn’t just its factories. It’s its PEOPLE. Their skills. Their experience. Their knowledge. Their careers. Rubio says 21st-century reindustrialization will require workers with MORE skills and more education. So let’s build that capacity here. Train Americans. Hire Americans. Develop Americans. We spent decades learning what happens when we outsource our industrial capacity. Let’s not learn the same lesson with our human capital. @SecRubio @JDVance @SusieWiles47 @realDonaldTrump @RepRileyMoore

🚨 DHS is now taking public comments on its proposed new H-1B fee. This is your chance to put something on the official record. If you believe employers should have to seriously recruit Americans before hiring H-1B workers, SAY IT. If you want stronger audits, better enforcement, real documentation of U.S. applicants, and more accountability, SAY IT. If you want a higher fee, SAY IT. Public comments matter because agencies are required to review and respond to significant issues raised during rulemaking. Don’t just complain on X. Put your argument into the federal record. Comment deadline: September 24. Docket: USCIS-2026-0298

🚨 New Department of Labor data just dropped. Through FY2026 Q3, employers received certification for 830,710 foreign-worker positions under the H-1B/H-1B1/E-3 LCA program. And look where they’re going: • 241,846 Software Developers • 62,170 Electronics Engineers • 30,973 Data Scientists • 28,058 IT Project Managers • 24,743 Software QA Analysts & Testers Software developers alone account for 29.1% of every certified position. Top employers? Cognizant: 79,121 Qualcomm: 71,203 Amazon: 45,025 Meanwhile, American tech workers keep being told there aren’t enough jobs. At what point do we stop calling this a “skills shortage” and start asking why hundreds of thousands of foreign-worker positions are being certified while Americans are looking for work? @RepRileyMoore @RepGregSteube @RepBrandonGill @realDonaldTrump @SecScottBessent
