This is another great indication that Europe is waking up to the need for a pro-growth, pro-tech mindset. That being said it's frustrating that initiatives like this are often immediately met with skepticism or complaints. We all agree that we need to adopt a "you can just do things" mentality here in Europe, but then, when people do, they are immediately criticised for it not being perfect. I think it's great to see. Also a great combination of people from different parts of the European ecosystem. Here are some stats on the makeup of the 55 people (according to claude analysis): > Economists make up the bulk (20) > Entrepreneurs come next (11) - it is particularly great to see that it is more than large business executives, and that it is generally a younger, newer generation of entrepreneurs who are tech-focused. > Nine are policy makers > Eight are business execs And then there are some journalists, investors, academics. The geographic composition is quite interesting. There are both 13 representatives from France and Germany (also reflects the name) which is CLASSIC. The overwhelming omission is Poland. Nobody is representing Europe's most successful economy in the last ten years. This seems crazy to me. Surely we want to learn from the best, and Poland has been doing it better than anybody else (@mati would have been great). Overall, the tech representatives are strong. If this was a fantasy football team I would have probably also chucked in @taavet @demishassabis @DadaJudith @eldsjal @arthurmensch. Overall - NICE
