🚨 Shiloh Trial Update, Day 3 🚨 Shiloh’s attorney continued cross-examination of the father today. After asking the same question four different ways with the help of translators, the father admitted under oath that portions of his testimony from yesterday do not match his interview with investigators last year. Yesterday, the father claimed Shiloh ran after the boy not only to retrieve what was taken from her, but also because he believed she intended to strike, fight, or “rumble” with his son. Shiloh’s attorney pointed out that the original statement to investigators made no mention of that. The father was also asked multiple times whether he or his family had any involvement in a fundraiser. He answered “No” each time. Court is now on lunch recess.

🚨 Day 2 update, continued.. 🚨 The state continued its questioning of the first witness, the father of the 10-year-old child (who was 9 at the time of the incident). Two interpreters were required, rotating every 30 minutes. The father testified that he works as a bus driver (odd given that he does not speak English and bus drivers typically need a driver’s license with English proficiency requirements.) The viral video was then played for the jury and the courtroom. After laborious, often repetitive and seemingly coached questioning by the state, the father eventually stated that he saw his son take an item from Shiloh’s belongings. He said Shiloh chased after the boy, and he believed she was pursuing him not only to retrieve her property but also to “rumble” with or strike him. Just as defense attorney Brian Karalus began his cross-examination, the clock approached 5:00 p.m. and the judge adjourned for the day.
