Today, I spoke to industry partners and administration colleagues at the @WhiteHouse about our unified push to usher in an era of AMERICAN DRONE DOMINANCE. President Trump set the vision, and the Department of War is taking direct action.   We are helping to crowd in capital around proven innovators to field hundreds of thousands of low cost, lethal drones to the warfighter by as soon as next year: ✔️ @DIU_x’s Drone Dominance Program is utilizing a challenge-based acquisition model called "The Gauntlet," which allows companies to join live-field exercises, with top performers earning delivery orders. ✔️ The @DeptofWar’s Office of Strategic Capital is leveraging its over $200 billion in lending authority to onshore our drone supply chain and scale American manufacturing. ✔️ The Department’s newly unified innovation ecosystem is moving prototypes to real warfighter capabilities in months, not years.   The Department of War will continue to work with America’s brightest innovators to scale mass-attritable, lethal drones, ensuring that our warfighters never enter a fair fight.

Honored to join my colleagues from Commerce, Energy, NSF and OSTP today at the White House Summit on American Quantum Innovation.   This administration is demonstrating decisive action to ensure the United States maintains a permanent advantage over any global adversary in quantum technologies.   I outlined how the @DeptofWar is implementing President Trump’s Executive Order on Ushering in the Next Frontier of Quantum Innovation. The mandate @POTUS has laid out is abundantly clear: our warfighters must maintain absolute information dominance across all domains of warfare. The Department of War will continue prioritizing investments that deliver tangible quantum solutions to the Joint Force by partnering directly with industry and academia through our Quantum and Battlefield Information Dominance (Q-BID) Critical Technology Area.
