Here is a chart where you can visualize how the unsupervised Tesla robotaxi miles will grow. This is based on Ashok’s 10% weekly increase. See how the projected chart goes exponential? But it will take a while clearly. This is to set realistic expectations. I think it will be while before we can cross Uber. Might take a couple of years. But they can obviously scale at a faster rate than 10% to cover up faster

Today was an insane day for unsupervised robotaxi plate additions in Austin. We added 11 new cars. Now the unsupervised cars are almost 85% of the fleet. We saw a lot of old cars again and plenty of new ones too. We also saw some supervised cars converted to unsupervised as well. The daily active fleet was also 30 today. This is the second day of doubling the daily active cars giving rides in Austin. Looks to be the norm. Availability was great too throughout the day. The evening was a bit worse with more high service demand and only 1-2 cars popping up here and there though. I’m also convinced Tesla is now spreading their cars out more throughout the geofence as they increase the fleet (which is great). Overall, another great day for robotaxi in Austin. Look at that graph going up in the end too
